Toyota Wheel Offset

The wheel offset on Toyota vehicles is the distance from the centerline of the wheel to the mounting face of the wheel. It has a direct effect on the steering and handling characteristics of your car. A wheel with too much or too little offset will make your car feel "nervous" or "sluggish" and may cause issues in braking and steering.

Aside from Toyota wheel offset, there is also the backspacing you must take into account. It is the distance from the mounting face of the wheel to the back edge of the wheel. Backspacing has a direct effect on wheel clearance and tire-to-fender fitment.

Hello! If you are looking for new rims for your 2022 Toyota RAV4 - we advise you to choose 18x8 or 18x9 rims - they will fit your car without any problems and will be well suited with a profile of tire not less than 60. Wheel offset should be positive and it should be 12-20 mm. In order to install rims with negative offset - you will need to modify your car - install a lift kit or perform other suspension modifications.
